23 March 2020

Dear Beckett Society Members,

I am writing to let you know that in response to the current pandemic, we have postponed our annual conference (Bordeaux) to 2021. Details of future events will be circulated once we have a clearer idea of how things will develop in the next few months. Our next conference, to take place in Buenos Aires, will now hopefully happen in 2022. All current bursaries applications received will be considered in due course. These are very uncertain times, and even though members in different part of the world are experiencing this crisis differently we are all being affected by it. The next issue of the Samuel Beckett Circle will be published as normal on our website; we will have to see what happens after that. I’ll send you all updates in due course. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at the address below.

With best wishes,

Daniela Caselli
